Creatine Supplements are everywhere, but which one is right for you? Creatine is the most popular and effective bodybuilding supplement on the market. Everyone consistently using creatine is making HUGE, AMAZING gains! Anyone who is looking for big muscles, muscle growth, and quicker muscle recovery- look into supplementing with creaitne.
What is creatine?
Our bodies naturally make the compound, which is used to supply energy to our muscles. It is produced in the liver, pancreas, and kidneys, and is transported to the body’s muscles through the bloodstream. Once it reaches the muscles, it is converted into phosphocreatine (creatine phosphate). This high-powered metabolite is used to regenerate the muscles’ ultimate energy source, ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
Creatine is 100% natural and occurs naturally in many foods; therefore, it can never be banned from any sports or international competitions (unless they banned eating meat). Many foods especially herring, salmon, tuna, and beef contain some creatine. However, the very best source of creatine by far is creatine monohydrate because it contains more creatine per weight of material than any other source.
Creatine is bodybuilding’s ultimate supplement, and for good reason. For one thing, creatine can significantly increase lean muscle mass in just two weeks. It is also responsible for improving performance in high-intensity exercise, increasing energy levels, and speeding up recovery rates. It’s no wonder athletes who use it have such of an edge over those who do not. Soon nearly every athlete who competes will use it (if they don’t already). Creatine’s ability to enhance energy reserves in muscles comes from its muscle protein synthesizing action, while minimizing protein breakdown. This occurs because creatine has the awesome effect of super-hydrating muscle cells with water. It enhances muscles’ growth too-making muscle fibers bigger and stronger.
Quite a few studies have been done on creatine to figure out why and how it works so well. There have been over twenty double blind (meaning neither the researchers nor the subjects knew who was getting what), placebo-controlled studies conducted on creatine in the past five years. They proved that creatine increased energy levels, resulting in increased strength, endurance levels, and recovery rates. Another unexpected benefit attributed to creatine was discovered as well: creatine accelerates fat loss, while building lean body mass!
Different types of Creatine:
Micronized creatine sets a new standard for creatine monohydrate supplementation by actually producing creatine micro-particles that are 20 times smaller than regular creatine powder. This process adds a small amount to the cost of the creatine that you buy, but it is well worth it!
Effervescent creatine is a popular choice for bodybuilder’s and athletes. Many people prefer effervescent because it may give you less bloating, better taste, better absorption, and better solubility than regular powdered creatine. Also, the sugar in many effervescent products has been shown to help increase your body’s uptake of creatine, which gives you even better results!
Liquid creatine products are supposed to be better for being absorbed into your body and better at not causing you to get bloated. Many people swear by them, but many people believe that creatine can not be stable in liquid form. If this is true, then liquid creatine products may be nothing more than sugar water. The jury is still out though!
Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL (CEE) is creatine monohydrate with an ester attached. Esters are organic compounds that are formed by esterification – the reaction of carboxylic acid and alcohols. However, regular creatine monohydrate is absorbed poorly by the body – and its effectiveness is dependant upon the cells ability to absorb it. The poor absorption rate of regular creatine monohydrate requires the creatine user to ingest large dosages of creatine to achieve desired effect. Because creatine draws water to the cell, and because most ingested creatine monohydrate is not absorbed, unabsorbed creatine will sit outside of the target cell with the water, and this will result in the “creatine bloat.”
Kre-Alkalyn is “buffered creatine” that does not convert into creatinine prior to reaching skeletal muscle tissue. Kre-Alkalyn is a nutritional supplement that comes in powder form. It is packaged in a purple caplet that can be administered orally. Kre-Alkalyn is manufactured by All American Pharmaceutical Corporation and is registered under United States patent 6,399,661.
We all love the pump but most of us end up with either running to the bathroom in between sets or have a hard time swallowing the horrible flavors. Some don’t have either of these problems but know that it is important to cycle off of the drinks to maintain that pump with continual use. So, how do we accomplish both of these goals? ALRI is known to be ahead of the game in with all there supplements. That is why I have chosen them to replace the drinks. There are three products that will help build muscle, burn fat and allow your body to maintain the size you work so hard for.
N’GORGE: gives you Glutamine, Citrulline, and two forms of Arginine,. To the untrained eye this may seems like nothing but to those who want to get massive pumps, this makes you already want to bye it. Glutamine is the most abundant amino in the body, and Citrulline/Arginine combo means huge, long lasting pumps. What to expect:
Dramatically increases muscle size and volume
Increases lean mass and strength
Increases power output
Promotes greater contractile power and muscular endurance
Improves glucose and nutrient uptake
Enhances oxygen delivery
Primed ultra: This alone will give you a great workout. Two big things that play a huge role in this product are the Beta-Alanine and Caffeine. We all love the energy(caffeine) that the drinks give us, and you wont miss a beat with Ultra Primed. Now, Beta-Alanine helps produce Carnosine within the body. Carnosine is basically fuel for the body to keep going even on a low carb diet. Notice the energy first the first rep to the last! And get this it also has more Arginine in it so you wont have to take extra if you have a hard time getting a pump, and for those of you that get pumps- be ready for your skin to tear.
CR2: Unlike most Pre-Workout drinks you don’t get enough Creatine to help your body to produce the ATP that it needs to help with recuperation. Creatine Ethyl Ester is in a lot of your pre-workout drinks but that is weaker and you have to cycle that off and on. Instead try CR2 and notice effects, such as:
Intense Pumps and Vascularity
Increased muscle & strength
How should you stack these three products? Well this one is simple; take all three servings about 20 minuets before your workouts. Try to take it on an empty stomach for better pumps. To help the ingredients hit you system faster, hop on the tread or bike for about 5min to increase blood flow before workouts.
