Optimum Nutrition Takes Care of Vegetarians

Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 08:04 AM
posted by Jeffery mason

Vegetarians often have trouble getting their daily fill of protein. This is where Optimum Nutrition can help out with their 100% Soy Protein. This is a protein complex that is guaranteed to be vegetarian. Anyone who has ever been a vegetarian can understand just how helpful this can be. There is nothing more expensive than trying to get protein into your system as a vegetarian – nuts are expensive. Optimum Nutrition’s 100% Soy Protein is a cheaper alternative that can keep you healthy.

There is nothing worse for your body than not consuming enough protein. In fact, it can actually cause some serious health issues. Without a constant flow of protein, your body will actually start to consume its own muscles for nutrition. This is something that no one, both workout enthusiasts and vegetarians, would want to happen to them. If left untreated, you could actually experience some intense protein malnutrition.

Being a vegetarian means that you are taking on the burden of giving your body non-meat protein. This is something that can easily get expensive, along with fattening. Most nuts contain loads and loads of fatty nutrients, which can make getting a high amount of protein in your system difficult. This simple protein supplement can take away both of these factors, making it cheaper and healthier for everyone.

We currently live in an era where people want to feel healthier, stronger, and more physically inclined. No one wants to cook with oils, eat loads of red meats, and consume overly saturated fats. This is what currently is leading to our nation’s health and food crisis. Consuming a supplement that is high in protein and low in fatty nutrients could help reduce the overall weight of an individual, along with keeping them overall healthy.

Optimum Nutrition is one of the only companies that understand what the average person wants from a soy protein supplement. It contains absolutely no lactose, no cholesterol, and is made with no genetically modified organisms. All you get is a pure soy protein supplement that is unhindered by the usual mess of protein complexes. And you just have to take it and enjoy it, it’s as easy as that.

Being healthy does not have to be a daunting or impossible task. All you have to do is eat right, choose your supplements wisely, and exercise frequently. The rest is just the natural process in your body.

Optimum Nutrition & Amino Energy

There is a brand new product from Optimum Nutrition, the leading supplement and nutrition company. This product is known as Amino Energy, and it has been scientifically designed to give you the gains you have been craving. Now, it’s not like the usual supplements out there that directly increase your muscular gain. Basically, it supplements your supplements, increasing their effectiveness. This can sound strange, but let’s look at the ingredients to see just how it is doing this.

Amino Acids (BCAAs)

These are the crucial amino acids that your body does not naturally create. These simple amino acids actually make up one-third of the protein you need to create healthy muscles. Seeing as how your body does not make it, you need to find some way to get it into your system. Amino Energy from Optimum Nutrition has you covered. A single serving can give you all of the amino acids you need to continue developing and building muscles.

Caffeine

Amino Energy contains 50 mg of caffeine in a single serving. That is almost twice as much as the normal cup of coffee, which means that you are going to be experiencing some nice energy gains. All of that energy is then spent working out or lifting weights. And not everyone is 100% pumped up to go to the gym all the time, so a little energy can help out when you really need it. Just take it before you head out for your exercises and you can avoid the energy and motivation crash all together.

Nitrous Oxide

Every workout enthusiast understands and loves the “pump” that occurs after an exercise. That pump is the literal feeling of your muscles being filled with blood and nutrients. All of those nutrients are immediately being absorbed into your muscle tissue, where they will be used to repair all of the damage. Nitrous oxide can increase the blood flow, or pump, experienced after a workout. This increases the overall muscular development, and it can expedite the usual results.

Zero Fat, Ten Calories

The title of this section says it all: this supplement contains zero fat and ten calories. You can get all of the previous fitness benefits for pretty much nothing. You can’t really ask for a better supplement. Take it for yourself and see just what it can do to your fitness regimen.

There are numerous competitive bodybuilding teams around the world that are sponsored by Optimum Nutrition. Optimum Nutrition provides the world with only the best protein formulas. These complex protein blends have been designed in the Optimum Nutrition laboratories, which has been backed up by real results from million of people around the world.

Getting a large muscular stature requires understanding how to workout and how to build muscle. A diet must be high in protein and various amino acids. There are some key amino acids that you cannot get through normal diet means, but Optimum Nutrition has you covered here. As stated before, Optimum Nutrition only makes products for bodybuilders, so all of their supplements contain nutrients that keep your body healthy and productive.

Optimum Nutrition designs their supplements for ease of consumption. This is why almost all of Optimum’s supplements come in powder form and only have to be mixed with water or milk. The powder makes it simple to carry around and easy to store, which is crucial for any daily gym attendant. All you have to do is throw the powder in a shaker, pour in some water or milk, shake it up and drink. The shakers are designed to ensure there is no spilling around your bag.

Consuming powdered supplements day-in and day-out can become a tad tastefully boring. Optimum Nutrition also has various workout meal bars that are perfect for anyone looking for a snack or meal replacement. These bars give you loads of nutrients, vitamins and minerals, and the chocolate coating makes them delicious. The convenience of carrying around a meal replacement bar is unmatched by any other supplement out there, even the shakers pale in comparison.

Optimum Nutrition brand supplements and products are expensive, but you get what you pay for. The ingredients are better than most, the tastes are delicious, and the nutrients can help keep you going throughout the day. And there is nothing better than combining convenience with health and Optimum Nutrition does exactly that.

So, you lift and you workout, yet you don’t see any real results, why? The problem may not lie in your workout routine. It may be an issue with your muscle supplements, or the lack thereof. The best muscle supplements greatly increase your muscular growth potential. They give you the nutrients you need to succeed. The combination of exercise and supplements creates the perfect internal environment for muscle growth.

One of the best muscle supplements you can provide your body is a pre-workout supplement like Jack3d. Jack3d gives you long-lasting energy effects, which can be utilized during intense workout sessions. Rather than quit early due to fatigue, you can continue pushing through your workouts to optimize muscle strength. Once the workout is over, Jack3d is there to help you feel some intense muscle pumps, so you know that your body is fueling your muscles with real nutrients. With Jack3d, you will never have a bad workout again.

For your body, there is absolutely nothing more important than protein. Whey protein hits your body fast and efficiently soaks into your muscles. Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard is one of the best muscle supplements you can give your body. It is scientifically designed to hit the areas that need the protein, and it contains loads of other nutrients that help to ensure overall health and well-being. This whey protein is also stuffed with very few carbohydrates, so you get nothing but pure protein. It is a workout supplement that needs to be used.

Syntha 6 is a different kind of protein supplement. Rather than having to choose which kind of protein you want to use, Syntha 6 combines six different kinds into one formula. This gives you the instantaneous effects of whey protein, the lasting effects of casein, and the digestible effects of egg. This is why it makes the best muscle supplements list, and you simply have to use it to see just how astonishing this protein can be for you.

Staying fit isn’t all about hitting the gym and pumping up your muscles. It is also about taking care of your body. By giving it the proper nutrients, you will see a long-term effect of physical improvement. This is the idea behind Universal Nutrition Animal Nitro. It is a multivitamin designed by bodybuilders, for builders, making it one of the best muscle supplements you can buy.

16 Supplements To Get The Most Out Of Your Body

It’s dinner time and you’re hungry, so what are you going to eat? For your sake, it better not be one of those processed meals that come in a box. Or worse, fast food – yuck! Those things are terrible for you. Low nutritional value, processed ingredients, chemically modified foods, high fat content – does any of that sound good to you? Hopefully you’re shaking your head and saying, “No.”

So, to supplement your diet, need to eat nutritional foods and take multivitamins. The multivitamins are a great start, but you need to monitor just what nutritional foods you’re eating. Even some of those are corporate creations that put taste before nutrition, replacing natural ingredients with high fructose corn syrup. You’ll end up gaining more weight than you lose – not something you want.

The key to success is finding specific supplements that will enhance your body’s overall nutritional health. For safety reasons, you should always check with your doctor before starting a supplement cycle. There are some powerful supplements out there that will affect preexisting medications, so it’s better to be safe than sorry. Plus, your doctor can help you determine exactly which supplement is best for your system. It’s a win-win situation.

To help you get started, here is a list of some common problems people have while trying to maintain a healthy body. Just find the area you need some help with and read up on it. It’s that simple.

Problem: Bone Density
Recommendation: Magnesium
People are always relying on their bones to get them around, but how often do you think about your bone’s health? Bone density is a very serious problem that gets worse with age. You need to give your body a fighting chance by supplying it with magnesium, one of the key nutrients for healthy bone density. There are loads of supplements out there, so pick your favorite one and start enjoying.

Problem: Nutrient Distribution
Recommendation: Nitrix
Putting nutrients into your body is one thing, but actually getting those nutrients out to your organs is another. Your body transfers nutrients through the bloodstream. To increase the bloodstream’s efficiency, add nitric oxide to your diet with Nitrix. Nitric oxide is naturally made in the body, yet you can help boost the supply in your system with one simple capsule. Imagine larger muscles, more stamina, happier moods.

Problem: Bodily Impurities
Recommendation: Daily Detox Herbal Tea
Is there anything more herbal and natural than tea? It is one of the only herbal substances on the planet that has stood the test of time. Daily Detox Herbal Tea takes the usual tea blend and adds in a couple other natural ingredients to expedite and accent the natural detoxifying effect of tea. All you have to do is drink one cup daily, making it both simple and effective.

Problem: Weight Loss
Recommendation: Fire Starter
Diet pills come with all sorts of goofy names, and Fire Starter continues the trend. Regardless, it is a powerful dietary aid that can get your body slimmed down. It has a thermogenic blend of ingredients that will be sure to set your body’s system on fire. Corny, I know, but it’s true. You will literally feel the warmth of your body burning off excess calories, resulting in pound after pound falling off your body.

Problem: Digestive Issues
Recommendation: FiberSol
As you age, your body has a difficult time breaking down food. You need to start adding fiber into your diet, which is not always the simplest thing to do. Thankfully, FiberSol is a natural fiber supplement that is derived from fruits and plants, which is why it makes this list. A naturally derived fiber source is always going to beat out one that is chemically modified – no contest.

Problem: Muscle Growth
Recommendation: Dianavar
This is going to be a male recommended product only – it is not intended for use by females. This supplement enhances the male body, giving it a huge rush of testosterone. All of this testosterone will then push your body further than it previously was thought possible. If you have recently hit a plateau with your workout results, Dianavar can get you over it, easily and efficiently.

Problem: Protein Deficiency
Recommendation: Clif Builder’s Bars
Clif Builder’s Bars are perfect for anyone that needs some more protein in their diet. These nutritional bars are easy to carry around, cheap, and all-natural. That’s right – there are no chemically altered ingredients in these bars, so they are low in fat and high in nutritional value. Whether you are a bodybuilder or an average Joe, these bars are crucial to maintain a healthy, active life.

Problem: Snacking Urges
Recommendation: Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein
Whey protein is a fast-acting protein complex that hits your body hard. It starts setting into your system within twenty to thirty minutes. Because Optimum Nutrition’s Whey Protein comes packed with protein calories, which are hundreds of times better than fat calories, all of that protein is then going to suppress your body’s urge to snack. This culminates into a nutrient filled snack that keeps you satiated for a bit.

Problem: Loss of Male Libido
Recommendation: Sex Cycle for Men
Plenty of men experience a decrease in their sexual libido at times. It could be caused by stress, exercise, or age, but you do not have to continue suffering. Sex Cycle for Men gives you the nutrients you need to increase your sexual libido, reinvigorating it back to the way you want it. All you have to do is follow the cycle and the rest is history.

Problem: Anabolic Enhancement
Recommendation: Muscletech Leukic HardCore
After a workout, the body goes into what is known as an anabolic phase. This is the time where the body uses up the nutrients in its system to repair the damage caused to your muscles. An anabolic enhancer can actually increase the amount of time that your body spends repairing your muscles, which means larger muscular gains and firmer muscles. Muscletech Leukic HardCore is one of the best in the business for anabolic enhancers.

Problem: Female Orgasms
Recommendation: Viva Cream
The female body is much more complicated than its male counterpart. A woman needs to be healthy and stress-free in order to experience a true orgasm. Thankfully, Viva Cream can deal with both of those factors. It gives your body a specific blend of nutrients to soothe your stress and increase your sexual enjoyment.

Problem: Thyroid Health
Recommendation: Omega-3 Fish Oils
Some scientific studies have shown that omega-3 fish oils actually help keep your thyroid healthy. For anyone that wants to stay thin and fit, this is important. Your thyroid controls your metabolism and the amount of protein being introduced into your muscles. Those two factors alone should convince you that omega-3 fish oils are important in your diet.

Problem: Bronchial Restrictions / Asthma
Recommendation: Proefed
Suffering from asthma and other asthma related syndromes is no fun. It restricts your ability to enjoy the physical world. To combat this terrible affliction, there is Proefed, a supplement designed to release the muscular tension around your bronchial passageway. It is not a replacement for your usual asthma medication, but it can help supplement the effects and give you back the control over your life.

Problem: Insomnia
Recommendation: Sleep Walker
Everyone has those nights where you just can’t sleep, but not one enjoys them. You feel wasted the next day and it’s hard to focus. If this sounds like you, Sleep Walker is your savior. Their proprietary blend is designed to soothe your body into sleep, starting with your digestive system and then working toward the brain.

Problem: Creatine Deficiency
Recommendation: Kreation
During intense workouts, the body produces a substance known as “creatine.” This substance is designed to push your body through tough situations, enhancing your muscular strength and endurance. Unfortunately, your body only keeps a small amount in supply. Taking a creatine supplement can increase your workout endurance and results, and there isn’t a better creatine supplement on the market than Kreation.

Problem: Post-Workout Recovery
Recommendation: L-Glutamine
Muscular pain and soreness after a workout is a common occurrence. Let’s face it, you did some serious damage and it is going to take time for them to repair. L-Glutamine can speed up this process though. It increases the protein absorption rate and reduces the recovery period that so many men and women suffer from these days. Don’t miss out on your chance to reduce your post-workout recovery period.

As always, MyNutritionWorld.Net would like to encourage you to visit a doctor before taking any fitness or nutritional supplement.

WorldClassNutrition.com Launches New Mystery Project

WorldClassNutrition is launching a new project to offer consumers name brand supplement products for pennies on the dollar. The project offers consumers unspecified products in accordance with specific fitness goals. The process is much like popular travel websites where you bid on a city, score a great deal and afterwords have the hotel name revealed.

WorldClassNutrition has gone live with their Mystery Product service. Basically consumers purchase a Mystery Product in the fitness goal they are after (weight loss, pre-workout, post-workout, protein supplement) for a super low price. Then WorldClassNutrition sends a name brand, unopened, unaltered product that meets the fitness goal specified.

You may be wondering “What’s the catch?” There is no catch. When ordering products, there is often a surplus ordered and rather than having excess product on hand, WorldClassNutrition has decided to offer consumer’s extreme savings on the over stocked products they have on hand.

Among the manufactures in Mystery Product Project are:

  • Universal Nutrition
  • Sci-Fit
  • Optimum Nutrition
  • Muscle asylum
  • American Sports Nutrition (ASN)
  • MuscleTech, Myogenix
  • Certified Naturals
  • HiTech
  • Star Chem Labs
  • TwinLab
  • Competitive Edge Labs
  • Universal Nutrition
  • Swedish Beauty
  • Australian Gold

You are not able to choose the brand name you receive but, with prices like these, you’ll be getting a great value.

Bulk Nutrition+Optimum Nutrition=Great Deals

Cheap Bulk Nutrition, is hard to come by now-a-days. But if you shop around you can find great Supplement Deals! Here are some bulk nutrition items that I found at great prices! I am a big fan of Optimum Nutrition, I feel that they make a high quality protein, so when I found them for such a great price and in bulk nutrition I needed to share it with others.

Optimum Nutrition Whey Gold Meal 7.62lbs

Optimum Nutrition (ON) new Whey Gold Meal combines the many advantages of pure whey proteins with the taste of your favorite fast food milkshakes. Taste it and you’ll have a tough time believing that something this nutritious can be this delicious. At the core of ON Whey Gold Meal are the same proteins (concentrates, isolates, and hydrolysates) found in our best-selling 100% Whey Gold Standard In fact, these are the only proteins that you’ll find in ON Whey Gold Meal. Unlike other meal replacement products (MRPs) which often contain whole milk and/or soy proteins, ON Whey Gold Meal uses only the highest quality whey proteins. As millions and millions of satisfied 100% Whey Gold Standard customers will attest, quality whey proteins are so good, they should be on top of every athlete’s list.

Not all proteins are created equal. Some are more difficult to digest and absorb. Many are low in one or more of the essential amino acids. Others are poorly assimilated by the body. Protein scoring systems including Biological Value (BV), Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid score (PDCAAS), and Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER) are often used to help classify various protein types based on amino acid patterns, digestibility, and the degree to which the body can actually use the protein for growth and rebuilding. Of all of the proteins out there, whey proteins rank highest in all measures of protein quality. Whey protein is rich in all eight essential amino acids, rapidly digested, and easily assimilated.

Optimum Nutrition Whey 10lbs

Optimum Nutrition QuadPlex Protein Blend:

  • Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Concentrate,
  • Cross Flow Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate,
  • Ion Exchange Whey Protein Isolate

Optimum Nutrition’s 100% Whey Protein contains 22 grams of protein, only 2-3 grams of carbohydrates, 1.5 grams of fat and minimal lactose, the choice of brand is clear, now to decide what flavor and size! Optimum’s 100% Whey Protein comes in 1, 2, 5 and 10 pound sizes and is available in Double Rich Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla.

Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass 12lbs

Serious weight gain requires serious calories. However, those who need the extra calories most, often have the toughest time consuming enough of them. For many aspiring to be bigger, highly-active metabolisms, weaker appetites and on-the-run lifestyles make consuming sufficient calories through whole foods alone a real challenge. With Serious Mass, you’ve got nothing to lose and lots to gain. We’ve consolidated over 1,250 calories, 50 grams of protein, 250-plus grams of carbohydrates, and 25 vitamins & minerals with added glutamine and creatine into every serving. Is Sleep Killing Your Muscles?

Friday, April 16, 2010 @ 03:04 PM
posted by Leslie Rae

When people talk about protein, most of the time the conversation is around whey. Whey is a fast digesting protein and is great for in the morning and after workouts when your body needs the quick availability and you will be able to eat again soon, but there is a whole other world. Whey is a derivative of milk protein, one of two. The other part is casein. Casein is a slow digesting protein. Meaning it takes the body much longer to break down and digest. My personal pick for casein is Optimum Nutrition.

There are times when having a slow digesting protein is important! Anytime you are going to be without protein for more than four hours, taking casein will keep your body with viable protein sources to make sure your muscles are well taken care of until you can eat again.

Most athletes and gym goers who are concerned with maintaining hard earned muscle mass take casein, at the least, before bed. While you are sleeping, your body is hard at working repairing muscle tissue and without readily available protein is forced to slow tissue repair and/or break down existing muscle tissue and utilize that protein. Taking casein before bed allows your body to maintain muscle mass while repairing new damage.

There are other times casein is beneficial to supplement with, particularly any time you will have to go for a period of time between meals. Some people like to combine whey with casein so there is a constant supply of protein feeding the muscle.

My Favorite Casein Recipe:

1.5 scoops Optimum Casein (vanilla)
¼ cup Frozen Berries
¼ cup Whole Oats
½ t Cinnamon
2 packets of Splenda (or your favorite sweetener)
Water

In a bowl, mix casein, berries, cinnamon, and sweetener with enough water to make a thick batter. Top with oats and freeze for approximately 15 minutes or until solid. Be careful not to freeze too long. The consistency should be like ice cream.
