Ephedra
My 25 year love affair with Ephedra. Ephedra is know by several different names. MaHuang, Chinese Ephedra and epitonin, and also ephedrine. However ephedrine is actually made from ephedra. Ephedra is a natural herb and has been used by me for 25 years.
I started using ephedra for bodybuilding in my early 20’s. It was very effective in reducing my body fat, giving me energy for those long grueling workouts that make bodybuilders what they are, and for controlling my appetite during the 8 weeks of dieting before a bodybuilding show. I also found that ephedrine was a great nootropic. In college I would take it wake up for a 8am class and found that my cognitive skills were far greater than when I did not use the ephedrine. Sadly ephedrine has almost been erased from the US but there is one version still available and it is Proefed.
Now that I’m in my middle forties I have still found a great need for ephedra in my live. As a middleaged man I have found it much more difficult to keep my mid-section at a level of bodyfat that I like. Well guess what, ephedra to the rescue.
